[00:00] [Phoebe] Hi, sexy people. We’re going to catch you up on the last few days. A lot has happened
today’s Friday and tomorrow we all leave. I’m dying to get to the pool and our
Alaskusers are waiting outside to come in. I just checked in for the flight. Oh my God,
everything crazy happens the day before you leave, right? You’re trying to finish making
those connections, pack your bag and squeeze in the extra fun. And that’s exactly what we’re

[00:26] [Unknown] doing. As you can see, I am naked under my pool robe to get down there. So because I have to walk

[00:36] [Phoebe] through the reception area. So, you know, you got to be decent for the vanilla staff.
Here’s what happened Tuesday. We all went to the waterfall and it was a bit of a change up for
the excursion. We were supposed to do the crocodile, but we did the waterfall and got to see the
forest, some hiking and take really sexy photos near the banyan trees. And these are massive trees.
So it was fun to get a lot of backdrop photos against them. A lot of people were laying across
trees naked with the whole, you know, curvy body and all that. So it was a great opportunity for

[01:22] [Ed] for couples to kind of update their profile photos. Exactly. Always important. Exactly.

[01:29] [Phoebe] That evening. So, you know, we’re going all day. We have lunch, we get back, we have a little nap,

[01:33] [Unknown] dip in the pool. And then that night’s activities were off the hook. Oh my God. So it was

[01:43] [Ed] pole dance night. So everybody was in the main dining area and they have a pole set up and the
DJ was playing some music. And people volunteered themselves for the competition. So what happened
was we had two professional pole instructors show up at the resort and run us through a routine.
So they taught us a few steps. One for pole and one for a chair dance, which was fun. That’s
different than the last time we were here. And it was a simple routine, but people were encouraged
to improvise a little bit. Yes. And you could you could kind of tell as each round went through,
because there was basically a vote by applause. And each round of voting that went on where the
competition got a little hotter. And the routines got a little hotter and a little bit more
flair came out. The clothing came off more. One of the guys had breakaway pants, tearaway pants.

[02:53] [Phoebe] I lost it. I saw them. I noticed I was making whispers to the women sitting next to me and like
those are the quick release pants. That’s what I was calling them. Yep. And sure enough. Holy crap.

[03:08] [Ed] That was sexy. So for the final round, he tore the pants off, but he also had a somewhat unfair
prop. He had his hot wife sitting in the chair with him. And she was one of the pole contestants.
And she was wearing this little school girl outfit, which was very sexy. A very sexy hot couple.
Great routine. He had fun with it. Everybody was laughing and clapping and shouting. And it was
fantastic. And the winner for the pole was a woman who we suspected was a ringer because she talked
at an earlier dinner about having to run through her routine. So it’s clear that she knew something
about pole dancing. Her routine was super cute. And her final strategy was to take off her booty
shorts. And she had this song lit a hard thing on. So her butt cheeks were all out. Super cute little
butt cheeks bouncing around. She did her routine. Everybody lost it. It was great. And I ended up being
one of the final contestants. I ended up doing a routine that I remember on one of Phoebe and my
first date when we went to the exotic erotic ball in San Francisco. And we each got lap dances.
And there was this move that the guy had where he basically did a cartwheel into her lap and had
her his legs up around her head. So I pulled that move off, which was freaking amazing that I didn’t
kill Phoebe just a little. But you know, it was all it was all worth it. I ended up taking away
first prize for that competition, which was super fun. And everybody lost their shit, which was

[05:04] [Phoebe] so Ed’s legs are like one leg is here. One leg is over there. And his ass is like right here in

[05:11] [Guest] front me face down. Yes. Do a little grinding. Yes. So for those that aren’t watching the YouTube

[05:19] [Phoebe] video, his ass was essentially up at boob level. Right. So that I could grab it and bite it if I

[05:28] [Ed] chose to do so. It was a fun night. Everybody’s costumes were really fun. They all knocked it out
of the park. And what was interesting is that the promoter for the event said that this was the
the most extravagant pole competition that she’s seen in all the years that she’s done it. So

[05:50] [Unknown] like we were we went all in. And what were you wearing? Oh, I had these I had a button down shirt

[05:57] [Ed] and slacks. But for the final for the second round, I took the shirt off, which was part of the
routine. And then for the last one, I took the pants off and did the whole routine in the little
silver Lame shorts. Very tight, tight shorts. Black leases up the front. Yeah. Yeah. It was fun.

[06:15] [Unknown] It was a lot of fun because you went from sexy, I don’t know, business man, you know, long sleeve

[06:23] [Ed] shirt, belt, nice dress shoes. Little Rico Suave. Yeah. To, you know, which was very,

[06:29] [Phoebe] it was very magic, Mike. And then the shirt came off and then the rest came off and I was losing my

[06:35] [Ed] shit. And I did pull pull out an unfair prop because the other competitor got his wife up there.
So I said, well, I’m gonna pull Phoebe up because I’m why not stack the deck. I mean, I had a stack

[06:48] [Phoebe] the day on a tight body suit with that ended in shorts. So it wasn’t full length. Shorts leave,
shorts, shorts. And the zipper to it unzipped. And of course, it was black with a little diamonds
sparkles all over it. Like big. They were glued on all over it. It was a really cool looking.
And so then the zipper was silver and it was unzipped all the way in my belly button and then had
this amazing black BDSM type bra on underneath, which was super hot. It was, it was a lot of fun.
It’s a lot of fun. It’s not a fun. So you won and then people lost their shit and there was
a prize given away. And then we went up to the boom boom room and did some body shot tequila

[07:34] [Ed] tasting. Yeah. But body shot roulette, they called it because random person got picked from the
audience in order to do the shot. That was fun. People had fun picking their partner for the body shot
tasting. And people kind of moved through that. And by the, by the end people started to warm up
a little bit and really wanted to get back down to the pool and you know, relax for the evening.
Start to cool off because it was pretty hot. All the dancing, all the pole, all the jumping up and
down and the tequila shots up in the room with all of the people in the room made it a little

[08:13] [Phoebe] little warm. Yeah. But it was fun. Watching people put that slice of or the chunk of lime in their
mouth and like drag it over people’s skin and then put the little salt shaker on there.
One of the ladies put her thumb over the shaker top and pretended to be shaking salt all over.
Was it your body or somebody else’s body lifted, lifted up his shorts, shake, shake, shake, shake,
shake, shake. So the audience didn’t really know that she wasn’t putting salt all over your body.
Right. But I was close enough to see that she wasn’t and I was like, oh, that was a good move.

[08:47] [Ed] That was really funny. So people were losing it. People are having fun with with all the activities.

[08:52] [Phoebe] And it’s been it’s been it’s been fun and sexy. Yeah. Like and you could pick which body part you
wanted it. Of course, I picked between my legs. So by one of the one of our friends here. And so
that was fun. I got to be pleasure to end being an exhibitionist. So yeah, that was a good night.
So yeah, we went to the pool and then we ended up that evening in the hot tub with about eight
people for different couples. And we just sat and talked and talked and talked and talked and
talked all about the lifestyle, about the differences between ages and different areas and the
different communities. It was really nice to just sit and and do that. I mean, we’ve been doing
it all week long, but right. I’m never tired of these opportunities, honestly. It was nice for us

[09:42] [Ed] because the the people who were sitting in the hot tub were not necessarily our podcast listeners.
So these were other people to come along. And because of their exposure to the group overall and
the conversations and our conversations with them, we’ve recruited some new listeners. So it’s
worked out really well. And it was nice to be able to answer questions about podcasting and what

[10:05] [Unknown] we’re what we’re all about. So it was a win for us. It was a win. That was to the Wednesday was

[10:12] [Phoebe] a free day for everybody. So a lot of people went on their own excursions, which is great.
Another amazing thing about this vacation is that you have the ability to create these
wonderful memories by coordinating some of your excursions with other people.
Obviously, you’re leaving the resort and it’s safe. And you get to experience different areas
of Costa Rica outside the resort. Right. There are opportunities to connect with everyone.
And so this is just one of the things that I love about this vacation is because it isn’t
repetitive every single day. It is kind of a build your own vacation. And because it’s such an

[10:54] [Ed] intimate event and there’s there’s less people than really large-scale resorts,
you really do get a sense of who everybody is here on this trip. We’ve met and talked to almost
everybody on the trip. And on these day excursions, there’s enough people that kind of go together
where you can kind of enhance that bond and really get a deeper sense of who these people are.

[11:24] [Phoebe] I think some of the people that we weren’t able to chat with or were a few of the people from
week one that were coming into week two or the day passed in and they were here for a short
window a period of time. But we’ve had the ability to connect with everyone here at dinner or in
the pool or are on the excursion. So it’s. Yeah, there was one. There was one couple where the husband

[11:47] [Unknown] had to leave for work for a couple days, which is really unfortunate for them and a little sad,

[11:54] [Phoebe] but you know, he’s got a living. He’s got a high demanding job and you know, they made it work.

[12:00] [Ed] Yeah, they made it work. They did. She had a nice relaxing day. And we took good care of her.

[12:03] [Phoebe] Yeah, yeah. So yeah, so that was Wednesday excursions. I went and got a massage, which was amazing.
And that was an hour and a half. And then, you know, of course, after a massage, you’re just so
relaxed. And I took a nap and I relaxed by the pool. Several people were here and we had
conversations in the pool. We relaxed. It was a cooler day. There’s a little more cloud cover.
And we just, you know, we did a little business on the podcast and the day went

[12:38] [Ed] by so fast because we were just so relaxed. Yeah, yeah. And it was because it was a free day. We chose
to not go on an excursion because we’d already done a couple side excursions earlier in the week.
So for us, it was just to relax and kind of unwind and kind of recharge. Yeah, that midweek
get over the hump kind of an experience. It was pretty nice. We also made the decision that night
to head into town and to get dinner with some friends. Yeah. So we went and got some seafood
in town at a restaurant that we’d been at before. And how the food wasn’t quite as good as the
last time we were here. But we had a good conversation. We had good time with our friends.

[13:26] [Phoebe] But we have experienced this multiple places in our area. And while we’re traveling,
it’s hard for some of these restaurants to bounce back after COVID because the staff
just isn’t there. The same staff isn’t there. The same cook isn’t there. So they’re rebounding.
But and I think that was probably the result of our experience at that particular restaurant.
But for the most part, the restaurants here in this town are amazing. Yeah. The food in general

[13:56] [Ed] is amazing. And it is off season two. So they probably don’t have as much staff as they would at
like high tourist season, but there’d also be a lot more tourists, which is harder to get in,
harder to eat. So they might have more staff, but it’s going to be busier. So there’s kind of a

[14:13] [Phoebe] win-win. Exactly. And that night was glow night. Right. So we dressed in white.
So funny. You had this white mesh top on and it didn’t glow. Right. The type of fabric wouldn’t
glow. But it was white as all get out. In fact, you matched except under the black light. Under the

[14:36] [Ed] UV light, it did not glow. Weird. We even had a friend who had like a nylon liner
in his shorts. The outside of the shorts didn’t glow, but the inside did. So he could flip his
shorts inside out around the leg and they would glow. And this is why I buy stuff and I have a

[14:58] [Phoebe] black light. So when it comes to the door, I immediately put the black light on it and if it
doesn’t glow. Right. I mean, you try to figure that out online and you do your best by reading
the reviews and stuff. But sometimes you just, you know, and then up with something that glows,

[15:12] [Ed] it looks like it might glow, but it doesn’t. Yeah. And I didn’t check the shirt because I just
assumed that it was white and it would have glowed. But apparently not. So glow night was

[15:22] [Phoebe] was a little more low key. We did a lot of dancing, but people were a little more exhausted
that day from their excursions. I was ready to go because I had been relaxing all day. So. Right.
Right. So it wasn’t as big a turnout, but that’s okay. You know, people rallied and they
came out to the pool that evening and we decided we wanted to make a play date with our Texas
friends. Yeah. So we did. So we did. We’re like tonight’s the night. Let’s do it back to our room.

[15:59] [Unknown] So we danced, we flirted and we left to go dance somewhere else. Yeah. And if you want to hear

[16:09] [Ed] all about that story and one other story, which we’ll tell you about in a little bit, you have
to listen in on our Patreon to get all the juicy details. Yes. YouTube. And we don’t, we don’t

[16:23] [Phoebe] put that stuff on YouTube so we can keep the channel up. They won’t let us. Oh, and if you
haven’t noticed Ed’s shirt, if you’re watching on YouTube, a lot of people really like our original
logo, SU shirts. But we do have a new logo. Actually, this one’s not available anymore. We did
change the logo. Yeah. We did. But we have some fun ones also where it’s not so in your face.
Although I don’t know if people would be able to look at that and go know what’s where your

[16:52] [Unknown] university is. They’d have to read into it. But the interesting thing with that, a bunch of

[16:59] [Ed] the people who showed up this week had our shirts on, which was super, super cool.
And it was fun showing up to dinner and going, I know that shirt. So appreciate all of you guys
buying, buying the shirts and supporting us. It was fantastic to see my art running around
all over the resort and on excursions and it was fun. Super fun. And we tried to make some of

[17:25] [Phoebe] those shirts not so in your face. So you can wear them in public and be kind of wearing a secret

[17:32] [Ed] in front of everybody upside down. I’ll see kind Apple. Yeah.

[17:41] [Guest] All right. We need your help so that your community, the very one you love and have so much fun
with can also find our show. Here’s a really easy way to do that. If you’re listening on Apple
podcasts or Spotify, hit that follow button and leave us a rating. If you’re watching on YouTube,

[18:01] [Unknown] subscribe and turn on notifications. We can’t emphasize enough how much this helps the

[18:07] [Guest] Swinger community and it truly is up to you to make that happen. It makes a massive difference

[18:14] [Unknown] in whether new listeners can even find us. And here’s the thing. When someone searches

[18:20] [Guest] Swinger podcast, the algorithm doesn’t care how good our content is or how long we’ve been around.

[18:27] [Unknown] It only cares about ratings and reviews. We’d appreciate it. And your community will really
appreciate it. Thanks for listening. All right. We are on Thursday now. Yep. Yesterday.

[18:47] [Phoebe] So yesterday was a planned excursion to Manuel Antonio and Manuel Antonio is an area of Costa
Rica. It is also the same name of the park, the national park that they have, which I think is
the second, second most popular park behind Machu Picchu. So it is very popular, very beautiful
and extremely diverse. They have eight or nine ecosystems there. And the, oh my god, the life
and the vegetation that we saw there was phenomenal. This is the second time we have done that

[19:25] [Ed] and I learned even more. Second time. I saw things I hadn’t seen before and I learned even
more than I did before. Yeah. Not only the wildlife because there’s cool little crabs,
purple crabs down in the mud. There’s a possibility to see crocodiles, which we didn’t see any. And
Cayman, howler monkeys, coppachan monkeys, the white face monkeys, they call them
but plants, like all kinds of crazy plants and the guides are really good at telling you
what the plant is good for and why it’s important to the ecosystem and what the monkeys do.
There’s these spiny little seed pods and the monkey, it’s called monkey brush because the monkeys
have been seen using it as a brush, brushing the fur of each other. Yeah. It’s crazy, super crazy.

[20:22] [Phoebe] Pretty damn smart. In fact, the capuchins are, they said their intelligence is at the level of a
seven-year-old human because they use tools and some of the other behaviors they’ve been able to

[20:35] [Ed] measure as that type of intelligence. Fascinating. Fascinating. I learned all kinds of things about

[20:44] [Phoebe] bananas and pineapple. I was actually wearing my pineapple hat that day and then he pointed it out.
Right. Right. He’s like, look at her hat. Look at her hat. See this pineapple up here and I’m like,
hey, hey, hey. So we learned all sorts of information about all that. We’ll save some of that

[21:05] [Unknown] stuff for you guys to discover. Yeah. Yeah. Then the tour was over and was a good tour of about two

[21:14] [Ed] hours, two and a half hours. Yeah, it was pretty lengthy but it’s a long hike all the way through to
the beach and then hike back to the other beach so it’s kind of out on a like a peninsula.

[21:25] [Phoebe] Through the jungle, yeah, along the beach and then back and when we got back to Manuel and Tonyo
beach outside the park, that’s where all of our lunch was waiting. We’d all had it pre-ordered. We
even had our drinks pre-ordered. So our alcoholic beverages were there. Our food was there and you
had the opportunity to reserve a cabana or an umbrella. So we did the cabana. So that was ready. So
all we had to do was sit down, chow down, drink our drinks and enjoy the beach and then

[22:04] [Ed] you did an excursion from the beach. Yeah. I decided to try surfing. I’ve tried surfing one

[22:13] [Unknown] other time in my life and it was in Santa Cruz and it was on a really small board and it was with

[22:20] [Ed] a friend of the family who’d been surfing his whole life. So with a wetsuit and the wrong board
and everything, it was a terrible experience. Like I couldn’t get up on the board. So I said,
I have to try again in warm water where I don’t have to wear a wetsuit and see if I can do better
and they put me on a long board this time and I got up every single time. Didn’t stay up for very
long but I got up which is important in the lifestyle and surfing. Oh, I see what you did.
So it was a good experience. I hate a little bit of seawater which is bound to happen.
My ribs are bruised a little bit from banging down from the top of the wave when I was
going out but I had a good time and I think I would try it again in tropical water. So maybe in
a Hawaii situation or maybe next year again in Costa Rica. Before we talk about the theme night

[23:24] [Phoebe] that we had that evening, I want to talk about the other excursions that everybody else did.
Parasailing. I don’t know if anyone did the banana boat. No, I don’t think anybody did. Which is
this little tube you sit on. They probably drag eight or nine of you around the bay with their
little jet ski. So it’s fun. You get to be in the water and float around. And then you did the surfing,
parasailing, banana boat. What was the other one? I think you could have rented jet skis but we didn’t
do that. Ah, yes. So a lot of options and a lot of fun that everyone had doing fun stuff.

[24:07] [Ed] Yeah, one of the couple’s parachutes was actually the bat signal, which was fun. And people were
calling him, kept coming up to him afterwards and saying, calling him Batman. And he didn’t know
what it meant because when you’re parasailing, you’re looking this way at the boat, the parachutes
behind you. So you can’t really see it but everybody on the beach knew that it was them and knew that

[24:29] [Phoebe] they were, they had the bat signal behind them. So funny. That was a fun little joke that everybody
played on him. So by the end of that day, people were exhausted. And let me tell you, when we got on
the big bus, it was nice and air conditioned and we all had water. Basically, we gave a little
announcement and said, can I sleep well? And so we all reclined our seats back and I had my headphones
but on some music and went to sleep for about an hour and a half. It was the drive and we landed
here at the resort, showered off all the saltwater, got rid of all the sand. And then we all ended
up in the pool, which was fun because that had a theme of it’s a wrap. So you wear your fancy
pool wrap or whatever and the guy’s wearing girls one. And it’s on for about five seconds and they

[25:24] [Ed] jump in the pool and make it, I mean, right, right. It’s a very short theme because everybody wants

[25:30] [Phoebe] to get naked. Right. And then, you know, it’s Costa Rica can’t bring a lot of, I mean, you can

[25:34] [Ed] bring a lot of stuff, but you don’t want to wear a lot of stuff because one is hot and two, you want
to be naked. Once again, I packed too many clothes and didn’t wear, well, I wore more than half of
them, but there was a pile of clothes today that I realized I had not even remembered where in the

[25:52] [Unknown] drawer. I think I packed just the right amount of clothes, but I overdid it on the toiletries.

[26:00] [Phoebe] And here’s why I say that you could go into town and get at the store anything that you run out of
and they have a woman here at the resort that is like your uber for anything, right? You need
ammonia, you need, you need ibuprofen, you need alcohol, you need whatever you need, you pay her,
she goes and gets it and brings it back. Right. Right. I mean, it is amazing. Yeah, it’s a great

[26:27] [Ed] service that the, yeah, the resort provides. I love that option because

[26:33] [Phoebe] sometimes you don’t want to, you’re having fun and you don’t want to get your ass and go into town
and taxing. I mean, it really is five-minute ride, but still, I’m all about having things delivered to
me. So that was absolutely, absolutely. Then it was dinner and we had, I think that night, we had

[26:52] [Unknown] ribs, ribs. That was tasty, some finger food. So people got fueled up again and back down
to the pool and people were wearing to go yesterday. Yeah. So there was a discussion early on

[27:06] [Ed] in the day about strap-ons and the different styles of strap-ons and the different harnesses
and a couple of the ladies wanted to try a few things out. And they’re, as things started to warm

[27:25] [Unknown] up later in the pool time, one of the air beds on the side became a demonstration of sorts.

[27:34] [Ed] Yes, people were being recruited. And if you want to hear all of the juicy details for that,
you’ll have to tune in to our Patreon episode. Sorry, folks, can’t spill all the tea here because

[27:49] [Unknown] it’s YouTube. But I will say, once I saw action happening over there at the bed,

[27:56] [Phoebe] I belined it from one side of the pool to the next. I never swam so fast.
Well, as I love to watch. And then I, of course, wanted to participate. So it was a very,

[28:12] [Unknown] very good time. Yeah, we wrapped up the day in style. Yes, we did. Yes, we did.

[28:19] [Guest] And I think, sadly, that is it for now. For Costa Rica 2023, Swinger University

[28:28] [Phoebe] resort takeover. Yes. But stay tuned for the full wrap up after we get back.

[28:36] [Ed] Yeah. Well, I’ll spend more time behind a computer than I wanted to this week. And we’ll
splice together a bunch of stuff and weave a story and kind of recap the whole thing. Our highlights.
All right. Thanks for tuning in. Till next time.
