Costa Rica 2023 – Day 4

[00:00] [Phoebe] Welcome to day four in Costa Rica. Guess where we are. We’re on the beach in

[00:07] [Unknown] Haco at Hotel Haco. We’re sitting just outside the bar at a picnic table with
the ocean right there and I’ll show you some footage so you can see what it

[00:19] [Ed] looks like. It’s a humid day. We’re not used to the humidity here but it’s
amazing and we have cocktails. Oh yes cheers. Nice beautiful cocktails. Look at

[00:35] [Unknown] this cucumber gin and tonic. Oh yeah so good. Okay so needless to say we’re

[00:50] [Phoebe] enjoying our vacation and it’s only day four so we have many more days left.
Yesterday was the free day that meaning if people wanted to hang out at the
resort they could hang out at the resort. There was no planned excursion that
was prepaid for so you could do whatever you wanted to. A lot of people
left the resort and did their own excursion. So many people wanted to do the
same excursion that I will tell you about in a second that the coordinator of
the event arranged a special bus for us so that we could all go in the same
transportation and that’s what’s really nice and unique about this type of
takeover. It’s not brown-hot diet every single day which does have its appeal. I
get that that can be completely relaxing but here you still have the routine
but you have variety and if you’re craving variety and you want to leave the
resort and you’re looking for something different check this out for next
year. It’s a little more casual but it has a lot more options. Yeah and as you

[02:05] [Ed] can tell we’re not at the resort we’re wandering around the local town and
shopping and sightseeing and doing everything that we want to do and we feel

[02:17] [Unknown] safe. Everything’s everything’s really nice here so it’s a beautiful place. Okay
talking about oh oh you got to talk about the tour so what was the tour that

[02:30] [Phoebe] everybody wanted to go on? I think almost the whole resort went. Yeah I think it
was about half. Oh I thought it was 18. It was a 14. Little more than half. Right.

[02:41] [Unknown] Anyway you talk about that I’m going to drink. So before the our week at the

[02:49] [Ed] resort a couple had gone to the chocolate tour and they had experienced kind of
the whole process of taking the cow beans and breaking them down and cooking
them and processing them. I’ll throw in a little bit of footage for that when
we do our recap when we get back home. I don’t want to do a lot of video editing
here so this is just like little recap episodes but we’re going to do a full
video with lots and lots of footage so you can see more of what our adventure was

[03:20] [Phoebe] like and what to expect when you come down and do some of these excursions. Right.

[03:25] [Ed] So it was it was a chocolate tour so we went to the same place that we’d done
ziplining and ATVing. They have a small crop of cacao where they harvested and
processed it to make chocolates and it’s fascinating. It was really cool to
see them break down the the bean and we got to taste the raw beans. It was fun
and interesting and not what you would have expected. I will tell you it was

[03:59] [Phoebe] far more interesting than I thought it was going to be. I was kind of as much of
a chocolate lover as I am. I was like this is a chocolate tour. No big deal like
chocolate chocolate whatever. I can I get chocolate all day long. No no no no totally
different kind of chocolate and if you like a little bit of history and want to
know that like the ins and outs of how things work you will love this tour.

[04:22] [Ed] Yeah it’s it’s not like your typical Hershey’s chocolate factory where you go
through and you see the big vats and everything. It’s much more like a farmer
knocks some of the beans off and then cooks them on a little stove and like
roasted and you get the hand grind them. It was pretty cool. It was pretty cool.
We all got to taste some some chocolate product but some chocolate has some
cocoa basically after they processed it. That was good. It was very unrefined.

[04:52] [Unknown] It was basically licking the bowl. Yeah it was really good. It’s really good.

[04:56] [Phoebe] Let’s suck it. We got back. That tour lasted a few hours now half hour
there and back so you know a good half day. Then we get back and it’s pool time
right. It’s a middle of the day people people want to get naked and people want
to get wet. So we did and the drinks were flowing and things got pretty frisky
in the pool that day and I think a lot of it had to do with the great
conversation and participation that we all enjoyed when we were at the
factory. That factory but the chocolate tour. And those types of you know
bonding, conversational type excursions and things is all what this event is

[05:51] [Ed] about. We’ve heard a couple guests talk about this and I think it’s good

[05:56] [Unknown] to mention here that the because the event is so intimate because it’s so

[06:01] [Ed] small it’s much easier to get to know everybody who’s there and you don’t feel
like there’s just so many people that you never meet them all. Everybody has
pretty much talked to everyone else and gotten a little bit of conversation
time understanding getting to know some sexy conversation with people and you

[06:27] [Unknown] could kind of tell by the pool because we all by day three we all kind of knew

[06:31] [Ed] each other and the conversations that people were having were really heartfelt
deep intimate conversations and it was great. I mean they were fun and casual
as well but you really felt like you could just talk to people because you you
already knew them. Did you see the sexy butt walking back? I did see the sexy

[06:53] [Unknown] butt walking back. Sorry I almost did this. Great bathing suits down here by the

[06:58] [Ed] way. We are on the beach and so there are

[07:00] [Phoebe] the keenies running around. Oh there she goes. And naked parts outside of the

[07:07] [Unknown] bikinis. Lots of naked butts. That’s a skin. But not as naked as back at the

[07:12] [Phoebe] beach. No, but I don’t. I’m never tired of lots of skin so it’s always

[07:16] [Ed] exciting. All right. Yeah so pool time was interesting. It lasted right up
until dinner time. Pretty much. Up to the wire. Dinner time. 6 or 7 o’clock is

[07:32] [Phoebe] when we have dinner so that’s part of that schedule and you know breakfast is
at a certain time of day lunch is a certain time of day and so it’s dinner and
last night’s dinner they had roasted pork. Like the whole pig was out there on

[07:46] [Unknown] the table being carved. It’s really something about that. Seeing that much food

[07:54] [Phoebe] and the whole pig is I don’t know it’s very it does something to me. I’m not

[08:00] [Ed] sure what it is. A little primal. A little extravagant. It is. It does feel that way.

[08:07] [Phoebe] Like you’re getting like you’re getting something elaborate. So that was

[08:12] [Ed] that was fun. That was different than the whole fish that we had the night
before. Dinner was good. Good conversation. People had already started to wear
some of their outfits which was the strip blackjack night. People were
dressed kind of. Casino nightclub. Casino dress and the basics of the game
were it’s standard blackjack but if you run out of chips you can trade
clothing in to get additional chips that you can keep playing. They had a few
they had two or three dealers last night. They had a deer on all the cards. They
went late. Yeah but the one dealer I heard a dealer got fired because they kept
losing his clothes right. He wasn’t winning so the house wasn’t winning so the
game kept going longer. So anyway all kidding aside the the game was pretty
successful and people had a good time playing and you could hear them
Putin and hollern from all the way across the compound which is great. And
after blackjack group of people did go up to the boom boom room to watch a
vlogging demonstration and by whatever guests they are very into BDSM

[09:33] [Phoebe] really love it and brought a lot of their toys and implements even a sex
swing and so they were giving their own demonstration and play and anyone that
wanted to participate he was very good and experienced so people that wanted
to have that experience was able to with you know the right consent and the
interview process and all those with BDSM some nice mentoring from an

[09:59] [Ed] experienced person they they were a cute couple because we did some zoom calls
before the event so that we could get to know each other and we did like a show
and tell one night in lingerie and and they were in their their dungeon room
their playroom and they had all their their toys racked on all the walls around
them and behind them we were like this room was no joke it was serious I mean it

[10:26] [Phoebe] was straight out of that the TV show had a build section yeah it was full on
whole yeah that’s all that room was for it was amazing I was like oh man we’re

[10:38] [Ed] going in trouble one or two of every implement and device they had just
racks and racks with them all the way around the room so something for

[10:47] [Unknown] everybody something for everybody so that was fun and then you know a few people

[10:53] [Phoebe] hung out for that but not everybody was into that or they’d seen something
similar to that or tried it so then the rest of the group went down to the
pool and we all brought the the beds out right up against the pool because
they’re kind of stored in the back so yeah just in case it rained right so

[11:14] [Ed] there’s a cover some some air mattresses based on sheets on them at the pool

[11:18] [Phoebe] side and we weren’t in the pool very like oh and the hot tub was with the hot tub
was going last night I was a little little too hot but people were in it so we

[11:27] [Unknown] we were hanging out in a hot tub kind of relaxed a little bit got people in the

[11:31] [Ed] mood you walked away for about four seconds I ran to the room and it wasn’t
very far away to get something our room is the second one from the pool

[11:39] [Phoebe] so and everyone was just chitting it up whatever I come back the beds are out
people are already fucking what I was only five minutes one was getting it on
you must be present to win so matches have been made

[11:58] [Ed] checks were written and being cashed there were I did it I did a count last night

[12:06] [Unknown] four six eight ten twelve yeah there were about 12 couples down there or or 14

[12:15] [Ed] and at least two couples per bed and there were three air mattresses

[12:22] [Phoebe] and then on the side of the pool that’s where that’s where you decided to
participate well I got an invitation so and I said yes to that invitation
and it was a very sexy hot time and I learned some new stuff again
and we’re always learning new things I know and they really can’t wait to tell

[12:48] [Unknown] you guys about it because it’s so hot and where are we going to tell them about that

and then we’re going to head back in to have some naked pool time because
by the time we get back the rest of the resort will be back

[13:45] [Unknown] and we will talk about that tomorrow we decided to do something a little

[13:49] [Phoebe] different today we wanted to reconnect with one another and hang out and do
something on our own which is completely your choice by the way
when you come do this you don’t have to participate in anything
it’d be at the pool all day long if you wanted to or hang out in your room all day
if you wanted to or never see another soul if you wanted to

[14:08] [Ed] it’s totally up to you not quite as much fun but you could maybe maybe

[14:14] [Phoebe] sometimes I mean depending on the person our room time has been fun
